| I keep all my media on my external terabyte... music and videos. I was watching a video last night and it was working fine... I think... but the next morning the OS wouldn't even pick up the disk... it doesn't know its there... its turned on... I've tried usb and firewire... also tried it on vista and xp and a livecd of gparted. Won't pick the disk up at all. Any ideas? I really don't want to lose all my media... I'd go nuts!!! My friend might think its a corrupted file structure (NTFS). I think he may be on to something... does anybody know how one would go about fixing a corrupted file structure without damaging the media on the disk? I downloaded software that that goes with this drive and it said it was BAD... and that the capacity is 0... And something about not reading from the A-slot? I think i'll send western digital an email.
