Hey everybody. I have been using this forum for sometime now getting help with all sorts of problems.

I decided to join

I am having a problem with some freezing in games. Let me explain the problem

The game will run fine(happens on several games, so I have ruled out one game being the culpret), then the on screen movement will freeze, but the audio still plays. This freeze last about 10 seconds. Then the audio will also go out. This will happen for about 10 seconds also. Then the whole game freeze for about another 10 seconds, and then comes back and runs fine.

This happens periodically and not in any consistent pattern.

Any suggestions on what may be causing this.

It sounds like the driver for your graphics card might be corrupt.
I'd suggest reinstalling those drivers, download the latest version from the manufacturer's website.

Thanks for the advice. MY cards driver was out of date, but that did not fix the problem.
This is really weird.

The rest of my computer functions normally, and does not ever freeze and unfreeze like this, just when playing games

And these are not big CPU games these are just games from reflexive and websites like that

Any other suggestions..

I have a GFORCE 6200, not the best but I don't play huge games.
