| Built a new P.C. and it is not turning on. I tested the power supply and it works. My next troubleshooting step is going to be to short the power switch pins on motherboard to determine if it is the switch. Thing is i am not exactly sure how to do this. Do I just set a screw driver over all of the Panel 1 pins or do I somehow just touch the 2 power switch pins. Also can I just plug in the 24 pin and 4 pin cables from the power supply on to the motherboard to do this? If it does not power on this way does it mean my motherboard is junk. I have the PC Chips P23G, it's cheap and has a little bit of a bad reputation for being dead on arrival |
