ok my mums laptop has suddenly stopped booting to windows. it will get to the windows loading screen but will stay on this screen for a long time and then after that will go into a cycle of;
Red>Green>Blue>White>Black
and just constantly repeat this cycle.
the laptop is a Dell inspiron 5160
if anyone could give me any information as to whats going on with this that'd be amazing
I am guessing Vista? Have you tried to use the Recovery Partition and boot to it and use a Restore point?
Hit F11 or F12 at boot to get there.
