My computer has been randomly restarting for a long time now (4+ months). The restarts don't seem to have anything at all in common, just completely random. Sometimes they will happen one after another, sometimes right when I'm turning on the computer I'll get stuck in a line of restarts, always right when I'm logging in (the part where you click your name). At other times it just happens when I'm using the computer. Alot of times I leave the pc on during the night, due to downloading stuff. I know that it is not virus/spyware related because my harddrive recently (2 weeks ago I think) got messed up and I had to reformat it. Any ideas of what is causing these restarts and how to fix them?
