Default Quick Video Card Question

I have an Ati 4870, and I use an hdmi cord to connect it to my monitor with an adapter.

I also have an svideo cord hooked to my tv to watch movies, it works fine but I want to get rid of the svideo and hook another hdmi cord to my tv with another adapter.
My question is does the card support 2 hdmi via adapter at the same time?

Also the hdmi will allow sound to come from the tv right? that's why I want to switch from svideo.

Thanks for any help

Default Re: Quick Video Card Question

1. Yes, it will allow 2 HDMI adapters at once.

2. Yes, it will allow audio. Although I'm not sure if you need the SPDIF connector, or if you have a card with built-in audio like many newer ATI Radeon HD cards.
