Exclamation Problem when starting

Ok, I built my computer and I (am very sure) put and set everything in the correct place.

My problem is when I turn the system on. When I turn the PWR SUP on a red led turns on next to the 24 pin power. But when I hit the power button, the mobo speaker just emits long beeps.

I looked in the mobo manual and it said that the beeps ment that there was no DRAM installed or detected. I have the stick of ram in DIMM 1, it is the correct kind of ram (DDR). Also the evga support doesn't help at all.

Thanks in advance :o

brinks is on a distinguished road

Try putting the ram in other slots. Or get some ram that you know works and test it out.

After reading some reviews from newegg, there seems to be a high rate of problems with the ram slots for this board. You might have to replace the motherboard.
