| Hello everyone. I have recently put two WD 160Gb sata2 drives in raid0 array with the intention of having them as my main drives and my old 80gb as a backup disk. I installed windows on them and everything was working perfectly. Both currnetly have windows xp installed. The only problem is when i unplug the IDE hdd (80GB) windows will not boot. It gets through the post screen and everything fine, but then says that it cannot boot and needs a system disk. For some reason it will not recognise that there is an operating system on the RAID array. I am completely baffled coz i have tried chagnin hdd boot priorites and everything to do with the hdds in the bios and it still wont work. My system is as follows: Intel Pentium Dual E2160 DFI infinity P965 Dark-S HD2600XT 2GB Geil ddr 800 2x WD 160GB SataII in raid 0 1x WD 80gb ata100 I hope somebody has some ideas to help me with this problem, as the DFI tech guys didnt respond to my question. Thanks in advance. Al |
