Default PNY SD card problems (real headache)

ok i bought an sd card with my camera and since the day one had problems with it
it works with no problems in my camera( read write format and all)
but when i put it in my reader it just freezes whole computer to a point where i have to restart it
step by step
i open folder
select pictures
drag and drop them to another window
it will copy few of them and freeze if not then finishes
so i select and erase pictures it crashes on erasing mostly
format(rarely but crashes during format
so mostly when im erasing pictures from sd card it will pretty much make my explorer unusable
it stops and i can pull the card out close all other windows, try ot end sd card window process, i tried to shut down from task manager and explorer doesnt shut down at all doesnt even restart i have to push reset button on pc itsself

it might be that the sd card reader itself has some problem or the driver isn't compatible or installed correctly. if none of those solve the problem then reinstall your windows xp.
