Default Optiplex 740 vs Optiplex 740 "Enhanced"

I'm trying to figure out the differences here of these machines, hardware wise... I use an open source cloning software known as FOG. After extensive research it seems that FOG works with the 740 depending upon the BIOS version. The 740 is the only problematic computer I've come across - both with imaging them and the reliability of general computing.

1.1.3 - Works (with alternate PS FOG kernel)
1.1.8 - Works (with alternate PS FOG kernel)
Anything after that (they're up to 2.0.1 or something) doesn't work, regardless of what kernel I use.

However, there's a newer 740 out that when booted, the splash screen says "Enhanced" on it. Supposedly the Enhanced version works decently with most of the recent BIOS versions.

I've heard from hardcore Norton Ghost users that they also have issues with the 740. But it makes me wonder what changed with the "Enhanced" 740 that would allow it to be image-able, in my case.

Everywhere I look I can't seem to find an exact spec sheet, or even a blunt answer, to find out exactly what the difference is between them. Would anybody know?
