Tried it without the soundcard and no change.

As for the RAM, its possible, but it worked fine in the other PC. Ill try it in a spare one now to double check.

so have you tried resetting the cmos?

Twice, just to make sure.

I just can't think of any reason why nothing would show on the monitor when its a perfectly decent GPU.

i had this same problem with my pc a while ago. it turned out to be the water cooling system leaking at the cpu and dripping down on to my pci express slot and almost killing the bored. i fixed this with a alcohol bath. so your mobo could be dead

I truely hope not, Ive only just replaced it from a P35-DS3C.

Time to anoy some friends into letting my put my GTS into their PC for testing then.

thats a good idea, also you could try swapping psu's.
