Hi, I recently completed my first home build.

I have an MSI X58M Mobo with a Gainward NVidia 9600GT (512mb) Video card.

The problem I have is that I don't get any sound output via the HDMI when connected to my LCD TV.

The stupid thing is, I think I figured out why - the Audio In on the video card isn't connected to the motherboard....

So here it comes, the MOTHER of all noob questions - where the **** do I connect this cable to the board?

This is the most stupid problem ever, so please, take pity on me!

I figured it out.

On that motherboard its the JSP1 slot that handles the S/PDIF connection.

Hooked up to that and its all good
