| Ever since I put in a new video card my computer tends to get REALLY noisy. Now since the noise started same time as the new video card was put in I figured that it's the video cards fan that's making all that noise. I know I can't get it completely silent, but I want to make it so that the noise level atleast doesn't hurt my ears. I've read it's possible to do it using Rivatuner, but is it possible to change the fan itself with one that makes less noise. If it is can you please suggest some good ones for Nvidia GeForce 6800 video card. And a decent guide on how to change the fans. |

| Just save your money and download RivaTuner to tune the fan to an acceptable level. I have used the Zalman VF-700 on a 6800gt/6600gt/7300gt and it has worked as advertise. However, you will have to tune that fan down too, so might as well save a step (and money) and go straight to Riva.
