Default No power to A7VBX - MX SE

My PC will not power up. I have a ASUS A7VBX - MX SE with a Axio 480W power supply. The SB PWR LED on the MB is on when I hit the switch on the back of the unit the turns on the power supply, and the LED turns off when I turn the switch off.

I have tried to make a connection between the pins on the board where the front on/off switch connects to the board, but nothing happens.

I would like to believe it's the power supply that's bad, but why would the LED stay on?

Any ideas??

It doesnt take much to light up an LED...Get a new PSU. If that dont work, get another motherboard. Problem solved.....NEXT...
