i've recently reinstalled winXP pro 32 bits and everything is going fine exept i don't have any sound. i have an Asus p5vd2-mx motherboard and i installed the drivers from the asus site like i usually do when i reinstall XP. When i boot the PC it says "no adi codec"
Does anyone know what i can do or download to solve this? i'm desperate. thanks in avance,
Maybe try the drivers from your PC manufacturer site.
The search i have done says 2 things.
1. Could be a bad install of XP since it is not accepting the drivers
2. A program or application installed could have muted your sound. Check that.
