Default New Build Display issue.

Okay i have just finished building my new PC and I cannot seem to get a signal on the monitor. I have tried swapping graphics cards. Changing the slots which my RAM uses and also taken out all other cards, like my sound card and still nothing. The motherboard I'm using is the P5N-E SLI.

When i turn the machine on everything powers up. All the fans spin up all the lights come on, including the mobo LED. The hard disc spins up and there is power to the CD drive.

I was wondering if it could be an issue with the RAM? would that stop a signal an image from being displayed?

Or is it possible that there is a jumper on the motherboard in the wrong place?

I looked on google etc. and other people have said that it could be the processor or the mobo....(hoping so much its not lol)

Last thing is when I boot up i dont hear anything, no beeps to indicate anything is working or even wrong.

Please can someone help!

Thanks in advance,

Indie

this indicates that the motherboard is not passing post. when you power the system on, do the lights on the keyboard blink?

also how many stick of ram do you have, does the motherboard have onboard video (if so, run that) is your bios jumper set on run, and not config/clear setting.
