Unhappy My main board cant recognise USB hubs...?!

yesterday, i bought my USB hubs, 1 to 4, but my main board or windows cant recognize it, i pluged my USB Storage into these hubs, it doesnt work, but when i plug them into a normal hub, at the back of my case, it works well.
I tried it on my older comp, the USB hubs work...and it also works when i plug my USB storage in.
1 strange thing is, that when i tried put my USB storage through the external hub, the led of the USB storage stay the same, so it recieves no power.
But when i tried to do this the same step on my older comp, the led is lighted, it receives power.
My motherboard is P35-DS3, is there any thing wrong wif my windows?

@all : sorri for my bad English, if u guys cant understand....

Did you try all the USB ports?

Do you have USB 2.0?
