Default monitor question

I have just bought a new Samsung SyncMaster 913v (lcd).
Yesterday a bright blue pixel appeared on the screen
and it is always there, this morning a bright red one
appeared. I have been told that this is normal and
they are known as 'frozen pixels' and can free up in
time.. Can anyone give me advice on this please?

Flick it with your finger. Thats what I do with the work LCD that I use. Either that or try to RMA the monitor.

Thats a new one. Ive never had that happen to me on a LCD monitor. Now I know what to do if it does I guess!

If it does it too often I would get nervous though.
