Hi, I am new to these forum so please don't hate me if I do anything wrong. I am here for help because my computer recently crashed when I load up a game, it crashed so I ctrl+alt+delete to end task the game. Afterward I reload the game just to have it crashed again but this time I had to restart my computer. When it was loading up the windows, I notice the screen was a little weird until it went to desktop displaying red lines. I would like to know what is causing this so I could fix it.

Sadly that red line is not a good sign. That is a sign of the video card failing. At least in my experience. the only real way to fix it, replace it.

One thing you could try in the mean time is try to reinstall the drivers for your card, just to see if it actually is the card failing. That way you don't have to spend any money, that is.

Yeah, just hope that something got corrupted instead of broken . Do the lines show up before windows loads? If so then it's a bad card.
