Default Moniter keeps going dark

Hey all,

for some time now my monitor will just randomly go dark, not blank though but dark as if I turned the brightness way down on it. It either fixes itself after a while or, sometimes if I give it a whack it'll go back to normal.

And no, I never whacked it before it started doing this so that's not the cause.

Thanks for your time.

Sounds like your monitor is going. Time to upgrade it.

egh. Well that shouldn't be too hard with all the money I don't have.

Anyway, thanks for the help. At least I know it can't be fixed now.

Most likely your monitor is going as stated above.
I would try to borrow another one, just to be certain.
Not easy to do....... but maybe!
