Default Mate's PC has issues

A friend of mine told me he's been having issues with this AMD based system since last night. He had thought of putting his drives in RAID (Not specified which RAID) in his BIOS, but than decided against it for hardware RAID.

Now he tells me every time he starts his computer he gets a "New Hardware found" Alert. He's relly tech savvy and he's bugged his brains out so far. I've never heard of this issue before either. Here's his specs

Computer Specs: DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D BIOS 4.6.06
G.SKILL Extreme Series 2GB (2x1024) 2.5-3-3-7
AMD Opteron 170 @ 2.7GHz CCBWE 0546XPMW
eVGA 7900GT @ 671/1788 (volt mod = 1.55v)
Zalman 7000Bcu and VF900cu HS/Fans
OCZ GameXStream 700 WATT PSU
Samsung SpinPoint 160GB/8MB SATA3.0Gb/s
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition

sounds like he's forgotten to install drivers for something - What new hardware is it finding exactly?
