I've had a dell studio 1537 for a couple of months. It worked fine for a while until the dvd drive quit working I pop in a cd the drive clicks a bunch of times then spits the cd back out. What's going on?

Sounds like a problem with the motor; I imagine you'll need to replace the drive.

Though I had a very similar problem with the drive on my old comp, I just took it out, knocked on the top and shook it about a bit, put it back and it worked fine at least until I gave it away.

Have you opened it up and checked all the connections are fine in the drive. Also if possible try putting the drive into another PC or getting another drive .. and putting it into your machine
