| Recently my graphics card fan died, so I replaced it with a new one about a week ago. That was all fine and I was running BF2 and HL2 all normally. But yesterday, my monitor displayed nothing and did a long beep at startup. Basically there must be a problem with my graphics card. Why is it not displaying. Theres no sign or smell that its overheated, but it wont display. Ive put in an old PCI card that is obviously fine when it comes to XP stuff, but I wanna get back to shooting people on my FPSs. By the way, theres nothing wrong with the computer itself, because I can still hear the XP startup/shutdown music Any ideas??? |

| You video card may have gotten damaged with the fan failure. Was it still under warranty? If it was you could have sent it back for a new one. You can't now since you took the stock heatsink off. I would just get a new card.
