Default Integrated Intel GFX Issue

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad R61E laptop. I have checked my chipset and it is GM965 chipset with Intel(R) 965GM integrated graphics. My performance in games suck and i searched the web and apperantly intel created a faster driver for this chipset :

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP (exe) (19594KB)
v 14.34

But when i try to install it, it says

"The driver you are trying to install is not validated for this computer, Please obtain the apropriate drivers from the computer's manufacturer."

But what the ****? Intel does say that it supports the 965GM express chipset, so why wont it be right for my pc?

Default Re: ntegrated Intel GFX Issue

Hello,

I have split this off from the other topic. That was from last year some time. Next time please start your own thread. Thank you.

Now did you get the driver from this site:

Lenovo Support & downloads - Drivers and software - ThinkPad R61e

Cheers,
Mak
