Question Install Old HD to new MD

Hi I was curious how do you install a Old Hard Drive to a new Motherboard. I wanna keep all my stuff in the drive and not have to go thru with reformating it. I get this blue screen says install a new hardware into computer blah blah blah. And give me instructions but i highly doubt that will work. Any help me with this please.

If the specs of the new MB are diferent from the old you most probably will run into problems, espesialy if you are running XP. If you will be lucky enough to get into OS you will have to uninstall all of the old drivers (which will not show in the device manager) and reinstall new ones.

Even unintalling the drivers is messy. You need to back up your critical data and do a fresh install of XP. The blue screen of death is evidence that windows can't resolve the existing hardware driver conflicts.
