Yeah no, thats why i asked, definantly has to be in the right slots. Check mobo manual but im guessing the three darker slots.

The Mobo manual should show which ram slots are used for the triple channel mode on the ram...
For my dual channel mobo ram slots it goes 1 2 3 4 with dual channel activating with slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 or with all 4 filled of course. Each ram stick has to be same type and speed as well.
