Lightbulb how to know if SATA is @ full speed plz

Hi

I use two SATA harddisks both 80GB.

1st one is SATA 1.5GB/S transfer rate

2nd is SATA 3.0GB/s transfer rate.

Ive used an application called HDTune to determine transfer rate, but on 1st hdd transfer rate was only 60MB/s.

NOTE:But with CPU help it got up to 130MB/S

I got discouraged n not tried the 3.0GB/S one.

Can anyone help me, to know if my harddisk is really working @ full speed or not.

I thought my harddisk would gave performance to my computer, but i think its working like a normal ATA harddisk.

Motherboard i use is: Abit AS8-v

Thanks

Someone mentioned that to me earlier about this trick, what you need to do is set the Primary SATA your using to the first port of the Motherboard and the secondary SATA to the second port and both HD's jumpers have to be taken off to get 3.0GB/s
