Jesus Christ.

I was watching TV and I smell this smell...and I look around, and light is dancing behind my pc...so I jump up, and look inside, and holy crap...its on FIRE!

I put put the fire, unplugged it, and started looking inside. Part of the MB, right behind a usb port looks like it has been burned in a BBQ. I swear to god...the metal plating behind the USB port is GONE...its been burned away...

I have no idea what could have caused this.

I've still got all my parts. I guess I'll just a buy a new MB and put it back together...

I mean, holy ****...

Hrm, I could prolly get together that much cash, but I'd have to keep all my other parts. Do they still make MBs which support DDR1 Ram?

Brisbanes are pretty cheap and overclockable... Don't think of this as your PC being destroyed.. but as the heavens giving you the chance to upgrade ;-)
