Hard Drive not detected

My samsung SV8004H hard drive is no longer detected. It isn't the cable or any of the connections, they all detect another hard drive that i have in my house but cant use permanently. Any suggestions for fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

if you know its not the cable, and you know its not the slot on the motherboard since your saying all your other hard drives read on it. if you cant read it on any other system or even pick it up in the bios as being connected to the system then you can pretty much assume its dead. in which case you cant really fix it.

also make sure the jumper settings are correct

check the cable connected to your HD may it just loose
