Hello I accidently formated my hardrive with crucial data on it. It was my storage drive. Anyways I have been running a few data recovery programs I got off the net but none of them seem to be doing the job 100%. I did not write over the drive after a formated it . Does anyone know a 100% way to get my data back without certain things being corrupt. Its a usb drive and I read that I will have better luck if I unplug it from the portable case and plug it into my ide channel. Any advice and or software recomendations would be very helpfull.

what format did you do?

i think if you did not zero the data then you can get all your info since it just deletes the entires in the FAT

I just did a quick format. But the programs I have used to get it back dont get it all back with names etc and alot is missing still.
