I have a Fat32 external Western Digital 500GB hard drive. It is my backup drive. I have 130GB's to backup to the external hard drive but when I run Windows Backup Software, it only backs-up a little over 4GB.....why isn't the whole 130GB's backing up?
I think you have to edit your backup settings? And you should convert to ntfs unless you prefer fat32 for some reason ...should only take about 10 minutes or less I am thinking?
FAT32 will not permit files to be larger than 4gb......
convert the drive to NTFS unless you are using an OS that does not support it.
