Default Fantom Drives USB 2.0 Titanium Hard Drive

I was working in iTunes when I heard a loud CLICK and the power light on my external hard drive started flashing red and blue. When I try to access the drive I get an error message; "the drive is unavailable..." Any ideas or advice?

I'd say it's highly likely the drive's read/write heads have crashed (literally).

Do you think the data can be recovered, or is it all lost?

if the hard drive is dead, you can send it to data recovery centers for a price.
