| I have a Quantum Fireball external drive that I've been using for data backups for a couple years now. On my last backup, Norton claimed it couldn't find the drive. I looked via 'My Computer' and sure enough, drive not there. I pulled the USB cable off of it and reinserted, boopboop, "Found new hardware", by the name of '24'. '24'?!? Yeah, I know, looks like the USB interface in the drive forgot who it was, and no wonder Norton couldn't find it. Am I hosed? Thanks, hip39 |
