Default External HDD Question

I just got an external HDD case which is IDE/SATA with USB/eSATA connections. However my HDD is IDE, so can i connect it to my rig with eSATA or does it have to be USB?

Pretty sure the internal connection and external connections dont matter. So you should be able to use either one to plug it into the machine.

Default Re: External HDD Question

the eSata connector on the enclosure is probably just a passthrough for a SATA drive.
