Default External harddrive troubles...

I bought a 1TB Iomega external harddrive, which i wanted to use to put some videos on my ps3. However it was not Fat32 formatted so i download swisnife and reformatted it. For some reason now the harddrive is only 429GB, not sure why but thats still plenty of space. However when I tried to transfer my videos from the computer onto the harddrive it says there not enough free space and this error comes up

Error Copying File or Folder
Cannot Copy

Files Name
There is not enough free disk space

Delete one or more files to free disk space, then try again.

To free space on this drive by deleting old or unnecessary files, click diskcleanup.

Now i only have 4Gb worth of files on it, it says i still have 424 Gb of free space. When i try to do the diskcleanup there is nothing to cleanup. I dont get why it need more space I have 424GB of free space none of the files on trying to transfer over are anywhere near that.

Maybe try using GParted to increase the size of the partition?

Fat32 can only take 4Gig files... Plenty of google answers to that.

You have to convert to dvix to get any movies over.
