Default Dual monitors ATI

I just got a new system with an ATI HD4890, very fast in gaming but i'm getting sluggish performance on the desktop. I'm pretty sure this is something to do with me running dual monitors as when I disable the second monitor everything is fine.
Is there some sort of fix for this? does anyone else have the same problem? is it a known ATI limitation?

Thanks,

Default Re: Dual monitors ATI

Never had a problem with running dual monitors with mine. You may want to update your drivers or, if it started after an update, go back to the last version.
