Hi all
In need of some help.
ive just bought a router for my sony vaio ,but im having problems getting mt disk player to play the start up and driver disks.

ive tried auto playing disks but its not working,when i put any disk in like software disks dvd s or cds its not starting to spin.
Any help would be welcome

Try cleaning the lens with a shot or two of compressed air or a cleaning disk.

Optical drives don't last forever. I have replaced several over the years. It is a possibility that yours could have died. But before you pull the sheet over it, try taking it out and putting it back in while pushing it firmly... it could be a loose connection.
