I recently purchased a P3 1.2 to upgrade from an 866 P3. According to everything I had read and everyone I have talked to around the office it should have worked fine. However, when i installed the new processor and turned on the machine I got absolutley NO video coming from the monitor. Nothing, zip, nada. The little green light on the monitor blinks but that is it. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks BK

Different voltages and motherboard requirements for the 1.2ghz processor. Even though it is the same socket, there is a difference. Try reinstalling your old chip and updating the bios.
