Default Dell Dimension E510

Well I have a Dell E510 that has a constant orange blinking light. It does not power on. The only way it will boot up normally is without the CMOS battery. I replaced the battery with a new one and it still would not turn on.

Any ideas what could be the problem??

Well from what i am seeing there are many people with this issue. The fixes vary from removing USB Devices to a new Power supply. Try removing USB Devices first. If that doesnt work you may need a new power supply.

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 as a backup computer and I was messing around and put an old graphics card which is a nVidia GeForce 4 MX 4000 (not a very good card, I know, but better than integrated) and I got the orange light. It does not necessarily mean that you need a new power supply, but you may be drawing too much power from it and it senses that.
