Default Crashing with 8800 GTS SSC Version

Hi,

I've been using my 8800 GTS SSC Version and have been experiencing problems. Whenever I load any video game, I will eventually encounter a crash. This crash usually displaying a color pertaining to what I was doing at the moment before the crash that covers the whole screen (22" Acer). I have a 600V Power supply, 3.5 gigs of ram, and a core 2 duo processor. the processor fan seems to be working. btw I have windows xp. any help would be appreciated in fixing this problem

Have you checked your temps. I got the 8800 GTX and the standard settings for the fan was 25% so i had to get Rivatuner to set my fan to full speed and it's running cooler now. My temps at first were 62c idle now ther 46c idle.
