I go to college, so we have the worst internet connection in the world for gaming. Is there a way I could hook all four of our computers together without plugging anything in to the internet. Someone told me I should be able to do it with a router and I should probably get a wireless router so I don't have to trip over cords. What do I need to do, and if you could explain in detail because I'm a little slow when it comes to things outside a computer. Thanks Guys

Well yes, it will work with a router... the internet will be shared, and also you will be able to play LAN games.

Dlink or Linksys four port wireless router will work. If you don't hard wire the puters you will need Wireless NIC or usb Based wireless for each computer(laptops with on-baord wireless excluded as they are ready to go). I hope you are not buying all that stuff...It's gonna get pricey. Once all computers are networked and linked, all will have internet access.
