Default computer running without monitor

Hello.

My computer starts up just fine except for the fact that my monitor gets no signal, sometimes. I got mad and slammed my fists on the desk and then started the computer again and the monitor worked. I know its not a video card issue because I already tried swapping video cards. I also removed and re-mounted my motherboard to make sure I wasn't frying it. After all of this the monitor has recieved a signal at one point or another. I even tried different monitors.

Any ideas?

Hello,

When abouts does the monitor lose signal?

Also, what are your system specifications...?
