Default Computer Help, Please!!! - they used to be fast...

Hello I have two computers and need top know the best and right way to format them to as new, ideal for games, applications etc, i never really got tought how to properly
install windows and what disks to use afterwards etc? Thanks

well you go into the bios and set the optical drive as first in the boot priority you then pt the windows disk and turn on the computer and go through the windows install it is fairly self-explanatory. you will want to back up any data as everything on the harddrive will be wiped

Yeah, you basically do pretty much the same thing as when you install windows the first time on a clean hard drive. Usually you press delete as the computer is loading up to go into Bios.

Select the option to delete partitions you have on the drive, then create new ones if you want, format, install. Then you have to install ALL your drivers so I hope you have the CD's that came with your hardware.
