Default Computer failing POST - Removed Ram, Works fine

As the title says, the computer beeps like crazy when I turned it on. I removed an old stick of pc2100 256mb ddr ram. The computer powered on no problem, but now I put the ram back in and it still boots up and works fine.

So, do you think its safe to leave it in, or just ditch it?

Memtest86+ returned no errors. I guess it was a seating issue.
