Default cd rom issues

Ok i got a dvd rom that can read dvd + rewritables, my friend burnt some games onto a cd and when i put it in the cd rom it reads the cd and it shows the cd as nothing on it like its empty?

id say that the games your friend burnt wern't done properly, have you tried these games on another system?
