Edward Junior Techie Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 59	Can't boot from SATA drive when IDE drive is plugged in I have a SATA hard drive onto which windows is installed onto on a ASUS P4P800 mobo. I want to backup the drive onto a IDE drive but I can't because when I plug it in it always trys to boot to the IDE drive no matter what BIOS settings I use.
