Exclamation Can I put a known good harddrive into a donor comp to see if it works?

I was given 2 donor computers that were stripped of hard drive and RAM. I have a known good comp that runs XP that works. Can I use the HD & RAMD from the known good comp on the two donors to see if the work with out any adverse effects ?

No... Windows will get messed up with the HD.

Use the RAM, but grab a copy of Ubuntu livecd and fire it up with that. If linux runs, its fine.
