Default BSOD - Bad_Pool_Header -- Help please

I had a system built with the folllowing configuration:

Windows XP Pro & the box is made up as follows:

ThermalTake 750W ToughPower Power Supply – Modular
2 x Corsair DDR3 2G
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300
1 x LG GSA-H55NK – 20x DVD+-RW Dual Layer DVD Burner
2 x Western Digital 500GB 7200rpm Serial ATA-II-300 HDD w. 16MB Cache (WD5001ABYS) Caviar RE2
Innovision GeForce 9800GTX – 512MB DDR3, 256-bit, 2x DVI, HDTV, HDCP – PCI-Ex16 v2.0
(720MHz, 2.3GHz) – Overclocked Edition
Samsung 225BW LCD Monitor
Intel DX48BT2 – OEM
LGA775, X48, 1600FSB, 4x DDR3-1600, 2x PCI-Ex16, 6x SATA-II, RAID, 8Chl, Firewire, ATX
I also have a Linksys Wireless connection (Dual Band N) back to a Linksys router.

My first problem was the system suddenly powering down and then rebooting. I tried a number of things including:

1. swapping out video card — got same problem
2. Buying new memory & swapping around — got same problem
3. Disconnecting drives — — got same problem
4. Replacing drives — got same problem

As a next step I checked the BIOS edition and it was not upto date so using Intel utility --- this worked ok according to the messages — then disaster — I am posting this on another computer as I cannot use my own.

I am gettting BSOD with folllowing message:

BAD_POOL_HEADER STOP 0x00000019 & then various other addresses.

I have taken out network card, unisatalled graphics drivers, disabled almost everthing is startup ... still get this error.

I can only use my computer in safe mode now.

I am at a complete loss. Any help greatly appreciated.

I also have a Linksys Wireless connection (Dual BAnd N) back to a Linksys router.

Thanks for any help or ideas.
