hey guys, my friend just bought a new brother dcp130c, and it seems we are having problems with it, i mean the drivers have loaded fine on the computer and the printer part of it works, it just seems that the scanner part of the brother won't scan at all. i was wondering if anyone could help out here, just throw a few ideas out there as too whats going on, thanks in advance guys,

does the LAMP moves? as new packed scanners come LOCKED. give it a look around.

ohh lamp sorry, had kind of a blank then, been one of those days, ahh no thats the promblem i think is that the lamp doesnt move at all.

well, look around, there must be safety lock then, to open the scanner (scanning LAMP) to move freely
