Alright.... so i bought a "Belkin F5U501 IEEE1394 FireWire PCI Card" i poped it into my PC (Win XP sp2). I power on, the screen goes blank but the computer is running. I took the card out and everything worked perfectly fine! so i went and tried it on my other computer, same problem.... any idea on what the problem is and how it can be fixed?

RMA the card or take it back. Sounds to me like you bought a bad card.
